    Why is 6 day Creation important in God's word?

One is the number for unity. Genesis 1:1-5. The part of creation that comes together. So ends the first day.

Ge 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Ge 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
Ge 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
Ge 1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
Ge 1:5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

Two is the number of division. Genesis 1:6-8, God divides or separates* things. So ends day two.

Ge 1:6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
Ge 1:7 And God made the firmament, and divided* the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
Ge 1:8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

Three is the number of resurrection, Divine completeness and perfection. Genesis 1:9-13, God resurrects life from his creation. The earth is now finished or completed, it's life, that grows from it, and it's form, is done. So ends day three. This also coincides with Christ's resurrection on the third day giving us life.

Ge 1:9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
Ge 1:10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.
Ge 1:11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
Ge 1:12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
Ge 1:13 And the evening and the morning were the third day.

Four is the number of creation of everything that so far does not require the blood of life. Genesis 1:14-19. All of the stars, planets etc... are now completed.

Ge 1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
Ge 1:15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
Ge 1:16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
Ge 1:17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
Ge 1:18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
Ge 1:19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

Four also applies to:

1) Four regions; North, South, East, West.
2) Four elements;
Earth, Air, Fire, Water.
3) Four Seasons;
Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter.
4) Four kingdoms;
Mineral, vegetable, animal, spiritual.
5) Four winds;
from the four directions of this earth as mentioned in the word of God.
6) Four divisions of our day;
morning, noon, evening, and night.
7) Four phases of the moon;
1st quarter, new moon, last quarter, and full moon.

Five is the number for God's grace or goodness. We have the five offerings: 1) The burnt offering, 2) The peace offering, 3) The sin offering (which goes along with the 3rd day resurrection), 4) The trespass offering, and 5) The meat offering. To have these offerings, you have to have animals to sacrifice. So on the fifth day, God created the animals (Genesis 1:20-23) so that His grace through offerings could be manifested.

Ge 1:20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
Ge 1:21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
Ge 1:22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
Ge 1:23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

Six is the number of: weakness of man, evils of Satan, and manifestation of sin. All of this came about through the creation of man. Genesis 1:24-31. Man is what Satan used to manifest his evil (sin) through.

Ge 1:24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.
Ge 1:25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
Ge 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Ge 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Ge 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Ge 1:29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
Ge 1:30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
Ge 1:31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Seven is the number for completeness, and spiritual perfection, Genesis 2:1-3. This also set up the 7 day week as a time period we now use. 7 is also the day we worship the Lord.

Ge 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
Ge 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
Ge 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

God could have created everything in one day if He wanted. But as with everything else in His word, it has a message to it. God does not waste any part where His word is written. God is perfect, even up to the number of days He used for His creation.  Some think that using numbers like this, in the word of God, connects God's word to an occult. Not true. For Christ said: How can Satan be against Satan and not his kingdom fall? Which means that what is not of God, can never help the explanation of what is written. Christians loose so much knowledge of what God would have in store for us because of their personal opinions about what is right, and what is wrong.

Example: In the story of Job, Satan had to ask for permission for all that he did to Job. This was an illustration that Satan really has no power of his own. Never once did he ask God: Can I bless Job? Why? , because blessings only come from one place, God. So if what you read here, blesses you, and connects you to more knowledge from God. Can it be from Satan?

2pet 3:5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
1) By the word of God.

2) The heavens were of old......   God had commanded age into His creation as it was being created. And this is backed up in the next verse.

ps 102:25 Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.

1) Of old... Age without time.

2) hast thou laid the foundation of the earth......    Foundation is the beginning of something that you are building or creating. So if the foundations were of old, age was added to the foundation creation of the earth as well as the heavens. The earth being created with age, but without time is backed up in the next verse.

ps 82:5 They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.*

The word course* makes the meaning of this whole verse. A course of time is a direction of time. A full semester course would be a full time course. A half semester course would be half course. But what if time were not needed to complete the course?... So we have age without time, which puts the earth out of the course of time, as well as the heavens.

Foundation: basis: the fundamental assumptions from which something is begun or developed or calculated or explained;

Course:
  1. Onward movement in a particular direction; progress: the course of events.
  2. Movement in time; duration: in the course of a year.

So what verses use the word course as a reference to time or age?

2tim 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:       2chron 31:16 Beside their genealogy of males, from three years old and upward, even unto every one that entereth into the house of the LORD, his daily portion for their service in their charges according to their courses;   2chron 31:17 Both to the genealogy of the priests by the house of their fathers, and the Levites from twenty years old and upward, in their charges by their courses;....  Etc...

Course: http://education.yahoo.com/reference/dictionary/entry/course

What all this means, in case it was not understood, is that God created a 4.3 billion old earth 6000 years ago. Which would translate to the foundations of the earth being out of course (out of time). Age without the passing of time. For God did it again with the creation of man and woman. Fully formed and of age. Why not creation as well?
