Last call! The preacher was doing an alter call. He felt led to go to the back of the church. Something he did not normally do. There on the back row was a huge Texan man. He was the picture of health. The preacher ask him: Would you like to come foward and accept Christ? The man responded: No, I have enough time. I'll do it when I'm older. The preacher replied: No man is promised tomarrow. The man said that he would think about it, but don't count on him changing his mind. So the preacher went back up to the front of the church and said the sinners prayer along with all who came foward and closed the service for that day. The next day, the preacher recieved a phone call from a decon in the church telling that someone from the church was in a horrible accident and was not expected to live through the day. He told the decon to meet him at the church and they would go to the hospital. On the way to the hopital the decon told the preacher what he had heard that happened to this person. He said: The man works on an oil field. While taken inventory of the trucks that were comming in, one of the trucks was carrying a load of steel pipes. As the truck turned the corner next to where the guy was standing, one of the straps that hold the pipes broke which sent the pipes on top of him almost squishing him in half. In fact they were surprised that he has lived this long with his injuries this bad. So the preacher told the decon to step on it and get there as fast as possible. When they arrived at the hospital they went up to the floor where he was. As soon as the elevator door opened they knew where he was. He was screeming so loudly he could be heard all over that floor. So they hurried to his room. There was that Texan whom the preacher tried to get to come foward at church dying in that bed. He looked at the preacher and yelled, save me preacher, I can see the flames! As he ripped and tore the sheets in that bed. But before the preacher could get a word out, the man past on.  This man passed on to eternity without Christ. His fate is sealed. God gave him one more chance before death and he turned it down. No man is promised tomarrow, and if you wait to long your fate could be sealed also. Hell is not a place to spend eternity.
